With a background in in accounting, consulting, internal audit, risk management, and HR, across multiple industries, Laurel is the secret sauce for corporate executives and entrepreneurs who are mission focused, and people centered. Ensuring these leaders can successfully navigate the business gauntlet while building their teams and developing the next group of leaders is her genius. Through workshops and strategy sessions she guides the executives and their teams in ensuring their words and actions are aligned and consistent, conversations are solution-oriented, and plans of action address root cause business challenges.

Laurel holds an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business completed at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, several certifications, is a graduate of The Center for Houston’s Future Business/Civic Leadership Forum and the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Circles. She also hosted her own podcast and radio show, both titled The Rutledge Perspective™ for 5 years and 4 years, respectively. She is intent upon using her expertise to help her clients succeed.
When she's not serving business owners and corporate leaders through retained strategic services, intensives, or customized programs, Laurel is working on taking her own advice and staying on top of her physical, mental and emotional well-being. This includes listening to podcasts, working on her Spanish and French, and learning something new to share with her clients. And maybe throwing in some reading and working on her golf game in the mix.
