Ross Cioffi

Ross Cioffi has recently finished over five years experience as a macroeconomist at Moody’s in its Prague office. There, he was responsible for regular analysis of European economies and supporting the macro forecasts for Sweden and Norway. At Moody’s, Ross authored the daily briefing for the EMEA region along with other research and commentary pieces related to the latest macro data and current events. These have ranged from inflation, manufacturing and unemployment, to energy, trade, and geopolitics. Ross’s expertise lies in translating assorted data and current events into comprehensible and actionable narratives for clients who want to better understand macro risks and forecasts.

Ross holds degrees in international relations and political economy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and from the University of Bologna. Studies and work with colleagues and clients in multiple countries create an appreciation for clear communication, learning, and analysis. In his spare time, Ross pursues his interests in investing, history, and foreign language, having spent the past decade living abroad.
